Established in 1992, Raccoon vehicle branding has been at the forefront of the industry. Setting the bar and continually pushing the boundaries in this fast growing industry, we are the go-to partner for high profile clients and contracts including large commercial fleets, prestigious and super cars, rallies and totally out of the ordinary projects.
This has been recognised, and founder Richard Clark was rewarded for his pioneering and entrepreneurial outlook by being inducted into the FESPA Hall of Fame. This seeks to highlight worthy printers from all over the world who their peers hold up as inspirational role models in the print community.
Why is Raccoon so deserving of this accolade? We are thrilled to be able to boast a whole host of ‘firsts’ over the years, including being the first to wrap capsules on the London Eye, the first in the UK to wrap a vehicle in Velvet and the first to successfully wrap a vehicle in chrome. Early chrome wraps weren’t effective in covering vehicles so Raccoon set to work on Research and Development to ensure that the finish was as intended. Pairing wrapping products, Raccoon was able to precisely wrap a vehicle and ensured complete curve conformability using chrome material. The process that Raccoon came up with is completely unique.
Richard Clark said; “It’s a fantastic honour to be inducted into the FESPA Hall of Fame and it recognises the hard work and achievements of the company in the past twenty years. We are at the forefront of this growing industry and we continue to produce jaw-dropping results. We have had thousands and thousands projects, wrapping vehicles and along the way we have had some really obscure projects - our general rule is 'if it stays still long enough, Raccoon can wrap it!' With the business operations growing and the new challenges on the horizon we can look forward to the next twenty years!”
Raccoon and Richard Clark have never been ones to stand still and the business continues to evolve. We now apply our coveted expertise into other large format print areas covering interiors, structures and outdoor for sectors such as retail, events, exhibitions, sport and music venues – with breath-taking results. Not to mention the launch of sister company Promohire, which is now the UK’s number 1 supplier of promotional vehicles for experiential and sampling campaigns www.promohire.co.uk.
