Autoglym appoint Raccoon as designated supplier of fleet vehicle graphics

Raccoon is excited to be collaborating with Autoglym following their recent re-brand launch. They came to us with an interesting challenge to solve: how can they maintain quality and consistency for their vehicle branding across their nationwide franchise network?

Each franchise was approaching their vehicle branding in an autonomous way. This led to a situation where not only the artwork designs were different, but the materials used to wrap each vehicle was inconsistent. The result? A fleet of 50 mismatched vans with an identity crisis!

Clearly this approach isn’t the way forward, and so Raccoon is on-board to ensure there is a process in place to ensure Autoglym’s brand is not compromised when it comes to their vehicle livery. We are responsible for producing and installing the wraps for each vehicle, and each franchise has until March 2018 to ensure their fleet is on-brand. Raccoon is the approved supplier in helping franchises across the country achieve this, and they are invited to team up with us using the online portal we have created. This tool allows us to capture their requirements so we can produce what they need and roll out installation.

For a high-end finish, Autoglym has chosen a 3M® vehicle wrap film from the 480 series. Not only will this deliver a stunning and long-lasting result but it is also PVC-free which ticks the sustainability box rather nicely for the brand.

Richard Clarke, Raccoon’s MD comments “We can definitely help Autoglym reclaim its brand consistency across the vehicle network, despite the challenges thrown up by a franchise network. The success will come from working with an agreed templated design which we can then apply across different vehicle models. We want to achieve the same high-quality finish across the board, and bring this brand to life in the way it deserves. Furthermore, the way we implement this re-brand is key, and we hope our online collaboration solution will create an inclusive and seamless process to help get the job done.”
