Jaguar unveils Raccoon's wrap for Invictus Games Racing cars

Jaguar has revealed its incredible F-Type racing car that will be driven by wounded war heroes for the Invictus Games Racing project.

The two bespoke 200mph sports cars have been in secret development for a year, and Raccoon is proud to have been involved in producing and applying the race livery to the car unveiled below. We'll shortly be wrapping the second F-Type to complete the makeover, so that the cars are ready to compete in this season’s 2018 British GT championship.

As official partner to Jaguar Land Rover, Raccoon’s wrapping expertise is unrivalled. This was an extremely technical installation, which went beyond the ordinary. The bespoke F-Type race model sported highly complex curves and lines, meaning the right material was crucial if the perfect result was to be achieved. Our ability to specify the right film made this a success, which also took into account the design requirements of fluorescent yellow and reflective white.

The result? Two iconic vehicles that will be transformed by Raccoon to compete in an inspiring endeavour.

Superdry co-founder James Holder who funded the Invictus Games Racing project said:

"This dream won’t happen overnight but during the journey I can promise fans that we will have inspirational drivers, great stories, innovative technology and the coolest looking and sounding cars on the circuit."

Here at Raccoon we are thrilled to be part of that very journey, and we’re confident that the F-Types will certainly be turning heads on the grid…
