In early 2010, whilst the marketing guru's at Skechers were planning their 2010 knowledge tour across the UK, they approached Raccoon to discuss vehicle wrapping, and to see if we had any fun ideas to help create a stir as they travelled to each venue. The minute we introduced them to Heidi, our retro VW Camper van, they fell in love. And as the saying goes, 'The rest was history'.
Heidi is a fun loving girl, who loves nothing better than open roads and the wind in her hair, so the Shape-ups tour was made for her. In the capable hands of 'Mike and Kat', and fully loaded with Shape-ups footwear, there wasn't a major town or city that she didn't visit, with her highlight being the journey through North Wales to catch the ferry to Ireland.
The tour was a roaring success, helping to contribute to huge sales growth during 2010 for Skechers in the UK, and European marketing director Simon Abbott was amazed at the impact the fully wrapped VW Camper had on potential Skechers customers and staff at the outlets it visited.
