Raccoon Hampshire strike 3way deal with top football club
As part of our massive marketing drive we clinched a deal with The Saint Radio station to wrap a brand new VW EOS. The car supplied by Breeze VW is worth £35,000 and has had a full rear wrap and text. We managed to design, print and fit the wrap within just 6 days to be ready for its starring role at the Netley Steam show, New Forest Show and Southampton FC open day to be held at Saint Mary’s Stadium. The car looks fantastic with the cloud design and will undoubtedly cause a bit of a stir! In fact, it looks so good The Saint FM are using it as part of a competition to actually win the car for a weekend!
Hampshire Launch - Signed, sealed and delivered the Raccoon way
Despite the inclement weather that has struck the UK with devastating force over the past few months, Raccoon Hampshire were undeterred in their efforts to wrap a Nissan Navara truck and five-door Ford Focus hatchback at the official launch. With a car wrapping extravaganza planned we were not going to let the weather interfere. All who attended were amazed at the visual transformations that took place. We quite literally transformed both vehicles into spectacular advertising opportunities.
The level of skill and concentration from our fitters was exceptional especially given the gale force winds! Dedicated to finishing both vehicles to the highest quality they worked throughout.
The Ford Focus Estate we wrapped on the day belonged to a local businesswomen called Sarah Biddlecombe.
Says Sarah: ““I knew I wanted some vehicle signage for Key Holding Services, so I had a look on the Internet to see what companies were out there. I came across Raccoon and was really impressed with their website and the vehicle wraps they’d already done. At the time, it looked as though they only had a workshop at their head office in Kent. Still, I was prepared to travel there because of the company’s impressive credentials. But when I phoned up the Kent office and spoke to Richard Clark, the managing directory, I found out that a new Raccoon franchise had just opened up in Hampshire, not far from me, and I was delighted.
I got in touch with it and spoke to Sam. He put his graphics team on the case, and they took my ‘golden surfer’ and worked on it, tirelessly developing the concept. Sam contacted me every day to show me the proofs and explain what was happening, so I was always in the picture throughout the development phase. When I finally got to see my car, I was gobsmacked. The graphics were crystal clear, and the overall design was really cool and colourful. They had the motif as a golden surfer riding the waves on a golden key, which I thought was inspired. Basically, the designer took what was a rough idea in my head – and on paper – and breathed life into it. My ordinary car is now completely eye-catching. It’s like having an ambassador for the business out on the road, working on my behalf, all of the time.”
Richard Clark, the managing director and brains behind Raccoon, is also thrilled with the way Hampshire franchise is shaping up. He says: ‘It’s an exciting time for Sam, it’s an exciting time for his new clients and customers, and it’s an exciting time for the expanding Raccoon network.
“The reasons we picked Sam out of all of the franchise candidates that have approached us to buy into the brand is that he’s brilliant at sales but, more importantly, he has an eye for detail and a passion for quality. Nothing leaves his showroom unless it’s seamlessly wrapped and totally snag free.
All in all the Raccoon Hampshire Launch was an absolute success, we plan to hold another event soon, hopefully the weather will be on our side!
