Raccoon collaboration on Vivienne Westwood's AW2018 window displays

Following on from the POPAI nominated SS18 window installation, Raccoon supports Vivienne Westwood further in delivering their next sustainable retail solution.

The theme for AW18 is ‘Don’t get killed’, which launches a creative execution in-store with a range of graphics and props. Working alongside the brand and Kosa Art Group, Raccoon contributed to bringing the idea behind the designer’s latest collection to life in a retail environment.  As with the AW18 installation, the crucial element was to ensure that the concept could be rolled out in a sustainable way.

Using Mactac products, we were able to specify, print and install the wall and optically clear window graphics for the displays in a way that meets the designer’s eco aspirations. Our green solutions delivered PVC, chlorine and phthalate free options that can all be re-cycled at the end of the season.

Installed across the 10 UK flagship stores, this hard-hitting campaign presents the designer’s message to her audience in a creative and bespoke way for maximum impact. Vivienne Westwood’s message about the collection: ‘’I’m a fashion designer and activist. You all know what I’m up to, I use fashion as a vehicle for activism to stop climate change and mass extinction of life on earth. The need to live in harmony with the planet is a matter of life and death.The best thing I’ve ever written is ‘Buy Less, Choose Well, Make it Last’.
