Raccoon was approached by leading bathroom retailer bathstore, as they planned the launch of their new ‘Home Design’ service. The brand was keen to offer this free service to customers so they could share their expertise further and give the customer a more personal, thorough service in the comfort of their own home. This offering was to be provided by all of its stores nationwide.
In order to make the logistics possible to visit the customer at home, the brand took delivery of 140 Citroen DS3 cars which were to be spread across the UK at bathstore-owned and bathstore franchised stores. This created an enormous branding opportunity, not only to raise awareness of the ‘Home Design’ service whilst staff members were out on the road, but also to create a slick professional image for the brand as it arrived with the customer.
Raccoon has vast experience in fleet wrapping for brands, and knew exactly how to add value and implement this complex project from the get-go. Following the well-known bathstore brand guidelines, we produced a range of wrap designs that brought the brand to life and made the call to action very clear. The new ‘Home Design’ service was at the centre of an integrated national marketing campaign for bathstore, which also included TV advertising. The messaging therefore needed to be consistent throughout, including these high profile vehicles.
Once the wrap design was signed off with the bathstore marketing department, our production team were able to swing into action and process the vinyl at our in-house production facility in Kent. Our award-winning technicians then took all materials off-site to work on the fleet remotely to complete the job. Despite last minute changes on the car specification, the team were still able to wrap 140 vehicles in just 3 weeks ready for distribution across the country.
Although the cars were chosen because they were compact and easy to park in residential roads, once they were wrapped their impact was enormous!
