We can wrap any number of business and delivery vehicles, along with premium personal vehicles - including Porsches, Maseratis and Ferraris.
We also take on larger projects such as acrobatic planes, helicopters and even the London Eye! If you have a larger custom project in mind, please reach out directly to our team.
A good quality van or car wrap should last at least three years and may last up to five years but it depends on how well it is looked after. A wrap is the first line of defence for any damage, so over time, stone chips can appear from heavy use on motorways.
To get the most out of your wrapped vehicle we would recommend:
We can produce self-designed and self-install decals for vehicles, visit the Raccoon Store to find out more and start creating your designs today!
We recommend that your insurer is informed that your vehicle has been wrapped, so that if your vehicle is stolen or damaged in the future, you can claim against the wrap and the vehicle itself.
Regarding the DVLA, our understanding is that because the vehicle wrap is a temporary covering, there is no need to notify the DVLA of the change of colour.
Promohire is our sister company and part of the Raccoon Group. Promohire has a fleet of over 20 vehicles to hire for product launches, sampling activity and experiential campaigns - from vintage vehicles to exhibition vans, double decker buses and taxi cabs.
Brands and agencies alike approach Promohire with ideas for roadshows, launches and tours, and the team work to advise on the best vehicle hire for their use.
Raccoon and Promohire work closely together at our site in Kent, producing and installing striking wrap designs and printed graphics that fuel social media content and campaign reach.
For most vehicle wraps, including colour change and single business vehicle projects, we prefer to wrap at our own premises to ensure we’re providing the best service possible. Our workshops are clean, dust-free and secure, so you know that your vehicle is in safe hands.
For fleets we would wrap the first vehicle at our premises to manage quality and resources. Following completion of the first car or van, we can wrap a large number of vehicles at your premises, providing that we have a suitable space to work in. We need to factor in elements such as:
Alternatively, we can provide a replacement vehicle so that your business can continue as normal while we wrap the fleet at our site.
When it comes to custom wrap projects i.e. London Eye, boats, helicopters, we can complete wrapping on-site, providing the space is clean.
For single business vehicles, wrap costs start from £1300, and for vehicle fleets pricing starts at £1000 per vehicle. Vehicle wrap costs for personal projects such as colour change services start from £1700. Check out our blog for more information on how much a vehicle wrap costs.
The total costs of any business or personal project will depend on a few factors:
We wrap using a wide range of block coloured vinyls from proven materials suppliers. Vinyls with additional properties such as metallic effects, two-tone colours, textures and chrome finishes will be more costly.
When planning your wrap it is worth considering if there are more complex areas of the vehicle that you need wrapped, such as interiors and painted smaller areas of the vehicle which will take more time for our specialists to complete to the highest standard.
Business vehicles
We understand that not all businesses have their brand elements mapped out, and we provide different design packages depending on the level of support required. Check out our pricing page for more information.
Personal projects
For more complex personal projects such as racing livery designs, we would need to review designed artwork from you to understand the placements of stripes and graphics.
It’s best to work using vehicle templates when creating your designs – you can request templates here.
The size of the vehicle will dictate the time required for wrapping and the materials required - in general larger vehicles will cost more to wrap.
Our award-winning wrapping technicians have decades of experience and only use premium wrapping materials.
We pride ourselves on attention to detail and won’t compromise on quality in order to rush a project or use poorer quality materials.
As part of aftercare we also include manufacturers warranties and our no-quibble guarantee.
If you have any issues with your wrap, simply give us a call and we’ll investigate the issue and repair it, no questions asked.
When cleaning your vehicle, handwashing is preferable, but you can jet wash with care – making sure not to hold the nozzle too close to the vehicle as it will cause the wrap to deteriorate.
You will also need to be careful with detergents and test chemical or cleaning products on a small discreet area of the vehicle before use.
When we wrap commercial vehicle fleets we provide the following documents for our customers:
If after collection you find there is a problem with your wrap, please fill out this form, and share any photos of the issue that you’re experiencing.
A member of the team will be in touch with you directly to discuss further and book in your vehicle so our team can repair.
If there is an issue with the materials, every wrap comes with its own warranty from the materials supplier, which will provide a level of cover depending on how long it has been since your vehicle was wrapped.
We work with accident & repair centres and customers to ensure that damaged cars and vans are quickly re-wrapped and back on the road once they’ve been repaired.
We can either re-print and cut the vinyl for the repairers to install or we can come on-site to install the full wrap.
If you need support re-wrapping a damaged vehicle, please contact our team to find out more.
