We certainly can! Our on-site mechanic can put together a report on your vehicle, detailing areas for improvement. They can then help implement the repairs to restore your vehicle to its former glory.
We can provide certifications and documentation for gas and electric components of your vehicle.
We provide a minimum of a one-year guarantee on the workmanship, installation and overall food van conversion. All of our wrapping materials come with a warranty, to give you peace of mind and reassurance while you’re out on the road.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a designer or have your own in-house designer to get started! We’ll help you every step of the way if you need support.
Once you’ve decided on a vehicle, the minimum our team needs to get started is a written brief including:
Your brand name and offering
Description of the interior requirements
Brand colours or guidelines
Examples of vehicle designs you like/dislike
Our design team will then distil your ideas into a concept design labelling the technical features and creating a wrap design. The designs are yours to review and share with key stakeholders for approval.
The next stage is to produce detailed manufacture (CAD) drawings, working to the exact floorplan of your vehicle, and including the measurements and elevations for the interior.
And then it’s off into production to bring your idea to life!
From initial design to the finished vehicle, a full conversion project can take 8-12 weeks.
If a vehicle is already set up for service and needs no mechanical or restoration support, then the lead time can be reduced to around six weeks.
If you have tighter timelines or want to test whether the concept is a good investment for your brand, check out our sister company Promohire.
Promohire has a number of vehicles available for catering hire, including ready-converted H-vans, sampling vehicles and US postal vans. These can be wrapped in your brand designs and ready to go in between three and six weeks for long term hire – perfect if you want to hit the summer festival season or winter food markets!
We have a network of contacts throughout the UK and abroad who help us to source specific vehicles. Once a potential street food trailer or van is located, then our on-site mechanic is on-hand to review prospective vehicles to check they are sound and provide good value for money.
We can help and assist with the registering of vans when being imported from outside of the UK.
